INSPIRED BY TASTE... DRIVEN BY RUM
SO, WHAT'S THE STORY?
Obsessed with the pursuit of great taste and inspired by a love of Rum (and cane spirits), RUMblin' is on a mission to spread the gospel of Rum, its spirit cousins and Caribbean flavour to the world.
Launched in 2012, RUMblin’ began as an event-series to showcase the infusion of rums (like Diplomatico, Gosling's and Smith & Cross) with food and pairing these dishes with cocktails and bespoke ice-creams & sorbets. In 2013, a unique opportunity to co-produce a mobile Rum bar for Trinidad and Tobago with awarding winning Rum Bar Trailer Happiness (Big Up to Sly, Paul and the family) at The World on Regent Street presented itself. It was this opportunity that gave the RUMblin' that exists today its genesis!
Since 2014, RUMblin' has grown into a reputable mobile bar service operator that has successfully delivered bars at amazing events and cool locations. Highlights to date have included appearances at the Monaco Boat Show Gala Opening in 2015 and the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup at the Rose Bowl in Southampton.
We’ve got exciting plans for the future and look forward to RUMblin' with you on our amazing flavour journey!!
We deliver our bar service via various units including:
a Converted Ice-Cream Trailer and a Wooden Rum Shack (both pictured below)
Robert Nelson (known by stage name Lord Nelson) is a Tobagonian calypsonian who sang some of Soca's most iconic music during 70s and 80s. His sound represents the real essence of the Caribbean vibe that Rumblin’ is about.
Additionally, the legend surrounding Rum being called Nelson's Blood only cemented the name as the right choice for our first truly mobile unit!
Gifted to us by the team at JBE Imports (much love to man like Jonathan), our beloved shack made its debut at Windsor Racecourse and helped us secure our first season of events with Arena Racing Company. Former Catering GM at Windsor, Vinny, is such a fan that we named our shack in his honour!
We love Vinny and we know you will too!
